record of employment. The only official document you have to bring to the government human resource department. Ask your employer to provide it when you leave. Not sure about your case, inquire human resource dept.

i think you can apply EI if you have enogh reasons why you have to move, i moved from Toronto to Hamilton, as my LG studys there, then i got now.
