TESTER as per my working experienceWHAT TESTER DOES:(for software testing)
1 Write test plans as per specification
2 execute test procedures
3 report problems
4 verify problems after it is fixed
5 help developers to investigate bugs
It also depends on the products which is tested, different kinds of software or system needs specific skills.
Plus it depends the background you ever worked.
