Chinese parents' common problem: underestimate kids + overestmate self - when it comes down to kid's choice. :-)If the kid is still "too young", then probably no need to prejudge their direction/prential just yet.

Even though I share your feeling towards accounting, but acounting is more than counting. The senior ones do more analysis and design, a lot of information processing - new laws, new cases, industry knowledge, and a lot of relationship management.
