枫下家园 / 爱车一族 / My car is 96 Taurus. Since yesterday, the SERVICE ENGINE SOON keep on. I looked into manual and was told there is something wrong in emmission control system. What should I do? Chang the PCV? Thanks.

你用ESSO #87油?建议使用PETRO的.开起来如果没有异常,这个灯亮也不是很重要,建议先去SCAN一下原因,大约几十块花费,然后问问行家是否要修理(可能要$200).

Thank you. Yes, I always use the Esso#87 according to the Ford manual. Where I can get a scan for tens of dollar? The Ford dealer told me CA$99 for a hour scan by computer.

俺用ESSO的油2次,亮灯两次,也许是巧合,但有人说,ESSO IS ASSHOLE.省钱就去路边小店SCAN一次.浆液DX说他那个灯亮了好几年了也没修,照样跑的好好的.不过,原因很多,可大可小,所以要去SCAN.

为什么？esso和petro有什么区别吗？petro声称它里面加了为冬天的特别成份，可那是super clean，92号呀。

就我个人感觉而言，petro的油确实比Esso的好。不光是高标号。

I think it is really probable. Because I got the fuel tank full just 3 hours before the light stayed on! Beteween in them, I was watching movie. That was the first for me to watch movie and then got this problem.
