Direct Compensation protects the insured against physical loss of the insured vehicle to the extent that the third party is liable. It's a no-fault payment where suit agsinst the liable third party is banned. It's notmadatory, however, in Ontario. However, 99.9% vehicle owner elect to have this covergae because it's really really a basic protection to their own vehicle. Under this cover, loss, if any, is not subject to deductible.
