枫下家园 / 爱车一族 / 关于汽车的尾气检查，是每年都要做呢还是其他的什么情况，请各位同志指点。另外我每星期都几乎跑同样的路上班，为什么有时候很省油，有时候又差不多用掉一缸的油？油表有问题？

It depends on your car. For car older than 5 (? not sure) years, you need to check it every 2 years. Car made in even year will be checked in odd year (eg. 90 model will be checked in 2001, 2003), vice versa

Usually you should renew the little sticker on your license plate every year or every other year, and this should be done before your b-day of that year. When u go to MTO for renewal,they will ask for emmission test result. Don't worry, they will send you the request of this test about few months before your b-day.

我想不起来去年关于尾气测试和更新Sticker是在两份通知上还是一份通知上，好像是两封信的。Rollor，你的车几年新？哪年的？如果是双数年份的车，将在单数年份进行检测。

好像5年以内的车都不用进行尾气测试。肯定有这个规定，但是具体年份长短记不住了。
