my experience,all dealers for GM/DC/Ford in Detroit can not sell new car to Canadian .
I talked to all dealers for DC in Detroit. got negative answers.
but it is OK for private used cars.
A friend of mine got new Honda from Detroit last year but no warranty .
not sure if this dealer still sell car to Canadain people for now.

About "本田车厂的车保修是不能在加拿大使用的", I have asked a service agent at Sisley Honda. He said all the new Honda vehicles will have warranty no matter where you buy it. Please provide your opinion.

I asked Willowdale Subaru about warranty. I was told there is change on 2008 & sebsequent model years concerning warranty for imported Subarus. Customer'll have to pay dealership first, then submit invoice to Subaru of America for reimbursement.

Sorry. Asked Service Manager at Sisley Honda again. He confirmed that there will be NO warranty for imported Hondas. Basically Honda discourages exporting/importing cars.

Urgent Help Needed. I am stuck in insurance.My existing insurance company, The Personal, does not provide temparary insurance before the car is registered in Ontario. I called State Farm Ed Wells agency. State Farm does not provide it either since I don't have existing business wth them. Are there any other insurance companies that can cover this temporary insurance?

My insurance company told me I need to get "temporary permit" from Ministry of Transportation in order to drive the car back to Ontario. It's valid for 10 days. You haven't mentioned this permit in your article. Why do I need this permit? Thanks.
