There are certain perceptions to all ASIAN people - not only to Chinese, but also to Japanese, Indian, South east asian etc., even to the 2nd and 3rd generation.....It is not something that one individual can change.... But there are certain things we can do to improve the working environment around us to make our life easier....However, the fact is that there is a glass ceiling, and few Asians can break it.

说的好。个人感觉有能力应尽量在底下帮助同事，share credit, 让你周围的人Look Good. 等到Team里多数人都说你好话时， 本人不一定多么优秀也能获得认同。Be careful of showing off that your technical skill is BETTER than others. When you really are, you are a threat, not a team player, unless you get strong support from your manager or your skill is so rare that there is no replacement.... Be a problem solver, be a bridge between business and technical people, be someone that others can go to safely.
