枫下家园 / 爱车一族 / 请问, BCAA和CANADIAN TIRE哪一家的汽车俱乐部好啊?我大体比较了一下,年费很相近,BCAA-57(第一年17入会费),CT-56.5,总体服务优惠好像CT好些,但是没有免费地图. 请有经验的DX帮助介绍介绍.

Personally I think BCAA is better. 它在美国叫AAA。到美国旅游可以得到当地AAA的服务。很多旅游点，还给(B)CAA/AAA会员有门票优惠。免费地图和旅游书很重要，买起来也很贵。

大多是一张的那种, 挺详细的. 但是加拿大的地图他们并不是很多, 比如VANCOUVER的只有VANCOUVER的详细地图和较粗略的省图.

我一直用BCAA的，没和CT比较过。感觉CT怎么也没法和CAA(美国的叫AAA，一家)比啊，单凭服务网络这一条，就把CT打死了。

据说CAA是认人的，而CT是认车的。就是如果一辆车有两个人开，如果是CAA就需要两人都加入CAA, 而CT则只需一个会员就可以了。是否是这样的？

Thank you, pmer. I submitted an application, regretting not paying attention to it earlier. I have another question for you:what's the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in such areas as
Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminister and Surrey? I am still looking
for an apartment without any results. There is a $825 one in New
Westminister and I doubt it too expensive.

一般的1bd apt.在Burnaby和Richmond应该600左右。house里面的1bd应该还便宜些。全包。New Westminister贵，具体不是很清楚，我觉得有些远了。Surrey建议暂时不考虑，太远了。

Thank you for the valuable information. I am searching along the Skytrain
rount and found New Webminister and north Surrey is on the route to
downtown. Isn't that helpful?Anyway, I contacted two buidings there but they did not have vacancy.
It seems hopeless. Maybe I will have to live in "New Immigrants
Reception Station (jie dai zhan)" first.

New Westnimister和North Surrey倒都在沿线，但是离VAN远了些，你要考虑以后找工，培训，学习的方便啊。这几天房子是比较紧张。不过别当心，VAN的空房率挺高的。如果房子一时定不下，住几天接待站也不错，你亲自去看毕竟有个切身体会，跟打电话发email不一样，而且很多房东要求deposit什么的，外地的都不好办。我觉得有个3，4天也就把房子找好了。

另外，由于你刚来，建议往Metrotown, Joyce Station附近找，那里有一片High-Rise, 交通比较便利而且周围一堆店。Richmond主要是交通不太便利，其实吃住都舒服。

我住UBC校园。在VAN最西端，靠海了已经。我主要是考虑夫人上学，所以只好我跑路她就近。不知道你对house兴趣大还是对building兴趣大，前者选择的范围更大些。
