100% agree with what you said. But.......I think you misinterpret the purpose of the collision test. Since you can never guarantee that you are the strongest on the road, the test is aiming for the worst scenario. It doesn’t attempt to show how cheap you can fix your car if ever involved in an accident, it only tells you if you are the weaker one in the accident, how much protection this car can give you and what’s the chance of survive.
