I normally drink French ones. Pinot noir goes well with spicy food. That's the reason we drink it more often. I am a fake wine lover :)

Yes. I found some white wines, such as Gewurztraminer from Alsace, goes well with spicy food too, especially when the wine is cool.

I went to LCBO today, all Pinot Noirs from France and California are sold out, only some from Peele Island are left. The movie has made the wine a best seller.
