Where exactly? now go to the Olde CityHall on Queen At Bay, get yourself a court date, go to the basement level, make a left turn, book a court date and tell them you need a translator,when your court date is up, go to the translator room and make sure you tell them again, if they don't give you one, then you postpone the trial

You don't need a lawyer, make sure the court gives you a translator, it's free, but do get your story straight, don't have any doubts, never utter the phase "I am not sure"

I am only going to say it once, You see some of the folks here yells about hire a lawyer whenever their toes been stepped on, the truth is, they've never done so, In Ontario, a day's court with full representation

what did I just say, as of now, you have not told us exactly what happened, the whole event was a blurrrr. What street was it on? where were the car that you were accused of hitting? what are the models?Where did you get the scartch on the back of your car?

Okay, then, Stick to your story re the colour of the scratch, two key thingsone, You didn't see the BMW after the incident, and did the police see the bmw?
two, produce proof that the scratch on your car occured prior to the incident
three, make sure you get a translator from the court and you ask to question the witnesses during the trial
four, remain calm
get a court date for now, do it asap, and postpone it once if it's possible, the chance are you will never go to trial with a small offence like this

One more thing, I doubt the cop will say to you things like" I am giving you a bigger ticket base on your attitude", if so, then attack on that point which the cop based his judgement on your skin colour, not facts
