Wrong. Most of these speed traps are high risk area. If all motorists slow down a bit, accident rate would be lower. If cops can't catch anybody at these spots, they'd move on to less hazardous areas.

Good web. A rule of thumb is: whereever all cars are going 20km more than speed limit, there would be a speed trap, as long as the cops can find room to pull you over.
