It's doesn't matter which CT you go, they are all liars and will rip you off for sure. The best way to go when there's something wrong is ask question in different kind of news groups(like alt.autos.toyota/honda/nissan, etc) and see if you can get some helpful answer. For a light problem like this, it's a simple DIY problem, I benefited a lot from the advises of that alt.... group. (before that, got riped off by CT). You can't trust dealer either; they are there to make money, especially when you don't know much about car. Most of the mechanics, if you assume they are cheaters, you'll save a lot of money.

Why don't write a complaint letter to their manager and get back the money, or write to some newspapers to complain about their service.

I don't recommand to repair your car in Canadian TireMy co-worker who is a canadian borned here said in Canadian Tire garage, it's usually an adult leading the rest of kids to do the car repair work.
If you have proper reasons, you can call your bank to stop paying or get your money back from your credit card. It won't affect your credit history but it's a kind of headache since you will have a lot of phone calls to handle the situation.
Good luck!

I'd guess it's a easy job. There are 3 lines that connect to the bulb socket, with one connected to the outside(frame) of it, it's the ground line. If this line is loose, tighten it; if it'srusty, clean it and tighten. That how I fixed mine.
