You don't need do anything.The clearance is carried out by the government agency, in most cases Canadian Security and Intelligence Service(CSIS). It takes a long time (1 year?) to get you cleared if you didn't reside in Canada for the last 5 years. Good luck

As to my experience, you still can apply as regular process. If the company is willing to hire you, they will ask you to fill a Security Clearance Form. (Sorry for English Input)Then, you will be noticed in less than a week. Good luck!

Security Clearance分三级, 最低级也要5年内没有在他们认为有敌意的国家工作过. 应该不用自己去申请的.
