Dalhousie is a good English university with fairly high standard and long history. Halifax is a beautiful city. Living expenses are lower than Toronto.

Agree most of part exceptliving expenses are lower. The renting fee maybe a little bit lower but the food is more expensive especially Chinese food.
You may also want to check the tuition fee there. The last time I checked, Dal had the highest tuition fee in Canada. .

Dalhousie is in high rank among Canadian universities. Halifax is a small and beautiful city with less than 200k people and 4 universities. Enjoy lobsters.

Dalhousie ranked pretty high in Canada 10 years ago, but not anymore. However, it is still a good University with a lot of traditions.

Let me tell u the truth!Dalhousie is not a good university as u thought except for the law is the best in Canada. Also Nova Scotia is a garbag province, the people there is not very friendly, there is no beautiful scene at all in Halifax.
I am now in Dal, i do not like here, rental cost maybe lower but food and transportation are expensive.
