先谢牛大哥,我才来加,很多事不清楚啊!老公找的是agent, 以前听说领EI一定要被LAYOFF,但是如果代理不LAYOFF,也不行啊!

Workers compensation board会当工伤处理，如果不能再工作的话就会补偿。跟经纪没关系，不过一定要第一时间跟管工说。

工伤保险跟失业保险是完全不同的两个东西，不能混在一起。在工作场所出了事故，要立刻报告给工头（公司），然后根据伤情决定治疗、休养等等。治疗的费用全部出自工伤保险，休养时可获得85%的工资补偿。

谢谢大家伙儿,也谢老天爷.老公从医生那儿回来,只是外伤,打了一针破伤风针,然后把伤处包扎了.哎,真不想干了! 我们想去魁省学法语,反正我来还不到一个月,应还来得及.不知会不会影响老公申领EI?

我们打算一起去魁省学法语,这边的LABOUR工肯定不干了,但是如果不能拿EI,那1000个小时不是白干了吗?很辛苦的晚班,风里来雨里去,心疼啊!

由于雇主的原因无法继续雇用工人的时候，工人才能够申请EI。但如果工人因工伤不能上班，雇主不能将工人解雇，除非工人永久丧失劳动能力，从此以后靠工商保险金生活。工人不能主动辞职申请EI。

Usually you cannot use moving as excuse to apply EI. You can only if you can show them that you have to move, and you don't have any other choice.

去医院了吗? 如果是工伤医院会直接通知worker's compensation board. 你LG不拿EI, 拿worker's compensation.

如果因工伤需要休息一个月, 可以拿两个星期的EI. 另, 工伤有工伤补偿, 公司会给的.
