Go to the library, search key words cover letter, resume writing. There are tons of them. Find one that suits your situation and modify it.

Hard working, reliable, trustworthy, etc. Experience is an asset. There are other criteria as well, such as your attitude, personality, related skills. Show them your confidence and willingness to get this job.
