呵呵，没看到 IBM 的所有黑盒子，包括pSeries，都支持Linux了吗？如果你是 IBM 的 领导，作为世界第一大软件供应商（是IBM，不是 微软), 为了降低 产品开发 成本，你会选什么？不外乎 OS 层兼容，虚拟机 层兼容。就是说Linux 和 Java

Enterprise clients don't care cost. They need good service and reliable OS. Lunix will take time to be stable as AIX.

MQ 非常好。在国内的时候我就推荐给客户，这边 遗产系统 较多，分布计算 强烈的客户才想用，也才用的起，现在的作的一个项目，光MQ, WMSI 就50 多万了。

没问题，我配过 SNA 和 TCP的 工作的都挺好。对我来说，目前主要用到，它完整稳定的异步消息机制 以及 广泛的平台支持。比如从PC DOS 的应用中 取个数据什么的。WMSI是个复杂的东东。到现在还没搞太清楚。

CICS 大机上用的多谢，AS/400国内用的凤毛麟角。MQ 有专门为CICS设计的接口。我没用过。没机会碰大机， :-(

呵呵，中联的一哥们今年来过一次，不过是为Norton NAV Enterprise的事，FB的时候知道他原来也在400部门，说现在400大不如以前了，都往6000上转呢，我有句话没说，再往后就转Linux算了。rt

我认识一朋友是中联来的, 他的认识是, 象中联这样的公司真的是特定历史条件下的产物, 即靠代理发家的, 一旦三五年后, 技术逐渐普及, 作代理就没有优势了. 好象大多数这样的代理公司都快撑不下去了吧!

实际情况是，由于中国政府的当年的政策，不允许IBM直接销售其产品(9000除外), 在加上TSC的支持工作很长一段时间不尽人意。而且没有IGS(China)，从而给中国产生了一块独特的代理商沃土。

中国没有IGS, 最主要的原因是中国用户的SERVICE意识, 哪有SERVICE要掏钱的. 不过IGS终究要成功的, 就象IGS在世界其他地区一样.

其实还是 有的， 我亲手作过的单子：客户买IBM硬件服务，我们提供它们的软件服务。中国公司也还是需要服务的。以后的趋势IBM也许会收一两个系统集成商组成IGS，就像ISM之IGS(Canada)
