如果EI期间工作一段时间,但是雇主没有任何EI,cpp deduction......,是否要向HRDC申报这段时间为self-employee(没有注册自己的公司)?
HRDC如何判断你是否是self-employee(是否要添一大堆表格设么证明你是self-employee,如果是都有些设么内容要添那?) ?
EI是被终止还是挂起(不知道以后有没有这样的工作)?

Talk to your employer first. Get clear on what type of employment it is. There are 2 possibilities here: 1. a contract. at the end of the year, the employer will issue a prove of income based on whichyou report all your income to Canada Custom and Revenue Agency (CCRA) and pay the deductions yourself.
2. It is under the table cash deal. The employer does not want to report to CCRA because, for your income, the employer is supposed to pay CCRA the same amount of CPP you pay, 140% of EI you pay, plus 4% vacation pay to you and Worker's Safety Insurance Premium for you. The employer simply doesn't want to pay any of these.

The consequences of improperly classified workers can be expensive , especially in a long-term working relationship( Is that "independent contractor" who works regularly for one business truly self-employed? Revenue Canada takes a dim view of businesses or individuals that misrepresent the employee-employer relationship.)
