工作学习 / 事业与工作 / 现在我工作的地方马上有lay off，我在现在的公司干的不满910小时，但是加上我以前在一个别的公司干的时间就满了，但是有个问题，以前公司干的时候，拿的是现金支票，就是赚多少，拿多少，不交EI ,CPP,好像以后发的不是T4,是T4A。请问我现在想拿EI的话，有没有什么补救措施。请前辈指教。

How many hours will you work for current company till the laid day?

If you work around 880 hours and explain your situation, maybe you can claim regular EI. Almost 600 hours is eligible for those people who claim maternity, parental or sickness EI or who claim regular EI second time.

go HRDC, if they determine that you were an employee essentially, no matter how did they pay you, employer has to pay back all EI and CPP in both poritons so you should be fine.
