Certified Management Accountant. It really depends on what kind of position you are seeking.This certificate more focus on managment rather than accounting stuff. It is not that helpful if you wanna be an accountant or financial analyst. CGA or CA is much better. But CMA is more easy to obtain the designation if you are not studing in Canada. Particually, if you get an MBA degree many of the CMA courses can be waived. Go to their website you can find more detailed information. www.cma-canada.org.

对了，那个遗产税的问题，三言两语说不清。不过，加拿大的确没有遗产税，虽然这并不代表你的遗产不用交税。:P

FYI: #4721, CMA和执行 Financial Accounting 功能的 CGA 不同，更侧重于用会计报表中的信息，站在经营管理的角度上，分析判断公司运营，提出相应的方针政策。Controller 一般是CMA。CMA 固然不错，可是需要薛50多学分的课程，有两年以上的相应工作经验才能拿到。这边技术性的考试都是非常注重细节的。后面的论文考试必须要有经营管理的经验，才能写出内容充实的文章。最后的 Case presentation, 不但要对 Management Accounting 有深入的了解，语言表达能力也是很重要的。

基本同意。:D 不过，Controller啦、CFO啦，不一定非要是某个Designation，没有这些也照样当。以前来给我们讲课的老师们，好多是退休的CFO之类的，发挥余热志愿到海外教会计课程，CA、CGA、CMA都有。
