Freight Forwarding Sales / Customer Service

1. Sales Rep / Account Executive:
This is an outside sales job so candidates need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to sell over the phone as well as across the desk.
Basic Requirement:
• Canadian Freight Forwarding experience is a MUST
• Minimum 3 years freight forwarding sales, inside sales, or operations experiences, with minimum 2 years as outside sales
• MUST have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Very passionate to hit the phones, chase down, continues follow up, and seek out new business
• Computer literate with research skills
• Experiences in Asia/International market, 2nd language besides English, and CIFFA Designations are all valuable assets
As a true driving force behind the development of new business, you must have an outgoing personality, be able to work in a team, be self motivated and a multi-tasker, and be aggressively pursue targets.
You must be familiar and be able to sell all kinds of freight forwarder products the company offers – no matter import or export, from Air, Ocean, Customs, to Special Projects, in an international scale.
2. Internal Sales
Basic Requirement:
• Canadian Freight Forwarding experience is a MUST
• Minimum 2 years related experience in freight forwarding operations, customer service, or inside sales (or a combination)
• Full knowledge of all modes of freight forwarding products in an international scale
• Pleasant phone manner, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to generate new business via telephone, letters, emails.
• Computer literate with research skills
• Experiences in Asia market, 2nd language besides English, and CIFFA Designations are all valuable assets
As a member of our sales department, you will be responsible for generating new clients from in house by phone, email, or letter. You must be passionate to serve the clients, provide support to the sales peers, track shipments and prepare quotations for customers.
3. Customer Service:
Basic Requirement:
• Canadian Freight Forwarding experience is a MUST
• Minimum 2 years related experience in freight forwarding operations, customer service (or a combination)
• Full knowledge of all modes of freight forwarding products in an international scale
• Pleasant phone manner, and excellent communication skills with good business sense through phone, letters, and emails.
• Proactive, considerate, and passionate to serve the client.
• Computer literate with research skills
• Experiences in Asia market, 2nd language besides English, and CIFFA Designations are all valuable assets
As a member of our sales department, you will be responsible for maintaining the current client base by taking and follow up orders from customers and communicate with vendors/overseas agents.
You must be passionate to serve the clients, provide support to the sales peers, track shipments and prepare quotations for customers.
