工作学习 / 事业与工作 / 请学经济或者金融的同学帮忙: 我绞尽脑汁也推算不出求Present Value of Annuity的公式--为什么是
PV = PMT * [ 1 - (1+R)^(-N) ] / R
其中PMT为每期付款, R为每期利率, N为期数

God, it's the most basic one. Seems like it's an annuity immediate. It's PV= [PMT/(1+R)] * [ [ 1 - (1+R)^(-N) ] / (1 - (1+R)^(-1)] After cancellation, your formula is the simplified version.It's just a simple formula in order to solve the sum of geometric series. Where you factor out the common factor, which is the [PMT/(1+R)] portion, then the rest is just to apply the sum of geometric series formula to calculate the sum, which is the [ [ 1 - (1+R)^(-N) ] / (1 - (1+R)^(-1)] portion. The formula is of the form (1-X^N) / 1-X where X is between 0 to 1 and N is the number of terms. In this case, X is (1+R)^(-1).
Clear enough?
