Thanks. Wrote this because a DB2 guy today said he hasn't found a job after 6 months. And an AIX lady a while ago had trouble finding AIX job. The guy can easily switch to Oracle and the lady to Solaris, both are much much popular platforms.

It is easy to say, hard to do. if you are DB2 DBA with more than 10 years of experience, but only have 2 years of Oracle experience, most employers won't hire you as Oracle DBA.

it's also easy to do, if it's looking for DB2 DBA, then update your resume with 10 y DB2 + 2 y Oracle; if they are looking for Oracle DBA, then update it with 10 y Oracle + 2 y DB2. come on, resume like advertising,if it's all true, I doubt who could find the first job in Canada as a new comer.

反对。靠说谎拿到工作，只会导致谎话越来越多，越来越大。就像楼上说的，扰乱市场。我理解说谎者的无奈。但是，如果骗人了，就因该感到羞愧，即便是为了生存。请问LZ，敢在面试时候欺骗你的人，你能保证他今后其他情况下不骗你吗？面试人的本分展示真实的自己，由雇主评判是否合适。写简历，参加面试需要技巧，不需要欺骗！
