I agree, it's useless to think too much.

You opinion doesn't make any sense to yourself. Because if you have Canadian citizenship, you must apply
for China visa when you want to be back to China. Even for your children, China embassy will give your children a short-term passport .

"if you are keeping 加拿大PR, you are impossible to 延期你的中国护照 more than twice. "这句名明显是错的。要不中国政府常自豪地宣称很多爱国华侨几十年来一直保留着中国籍的事就是瞎说了。

3. There were 500 PHD degree holders got Singapore PR instead of EP in 1987 before they came to singapore, and all of them got Sinagpore Citizen in 1988. It took them not more than 6 months to get Singapore Citizen

Do not even think about it. A serious problem will occur when your child leaves China:1 If he shows Chinese passport, he will not be permitted to leave China because he don't have a Canada visa;
2 If he shows Canadian passport, he will be fined a great amount of money for illegally stay in China (~50 yuan/day, but I forget the actual number) because he doesn't have a Chinese visa.

So you're not doing so to take advantage of dual citizenships? Then it is not a "dual citizenship" question, but a "single citizenship" question.
