Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) provides domestic and foreign-chartered banks of Canada with information, research, advocacy, and operational support services.

CBA conducts annual survey on small business financing to ensure that the lending policies at each financial institution are not biased against gender, ethnical back ground, type of business, geographic location, etc. The survey evaluates every bank's performance.

You may obtain some information from CBA about that topic. They have a library service too. I guess you are running out of time.

Personally, I tried to obtain small business financing from banks. My impression: CIBC is one of the worst. The conditions they set are impossible for small business to match and it is comparitively more costly to borrow money from CIBC than somewhere else. I hope to see some improvement through your effort if you work there.

          这个职位更注重analyses, 主要是针对small business lending. 根据job description 好象只是做些report 和 ad hoc什么的. 哪位朋友有这方面的经验, 请指教.

      The information sources can be from internal data collections, such as transaction records, from external sources, such as data collection agencies, Statistics Canada publications, or self collected, such as telephone survey, mail questionnaires, web survey, focus group (qualitative discussion), etc.

      Your job is to assembly the information to reveal past performance and trends and to forecast future outcome of certain products and services.

      Depending on your job specifications, presumably quantitative analysis, your technical skills may include data handling (database management), analytical (like statistical analysis), and reporting (written report, tabulation, graphic, and verbal presentation of your findings).
