POSITION TITLE: Network Monitoring Technician
POSITION NUMBER: TO096 PAY GRADE: Technical 5
REPORTS TO (POSITION): Manager, Network Management Centre
SCHEDULED HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours/week – required to carry a pager. After hours and shift work required.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
1) Computer Science diploma or equivalent experience and minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
2) Must possess an understanding of Fujitsu & AT&T Sonet, Fore ATM, Newbridge and Cisco routers.
3) Knowledge of CATV equipment, operational procedures, test equipment and operating parameters.
4) Knowledge of Windows and various applications such as Word, Excel, Access and Web browser softwares.
5) Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6) Excellent organizational skills.
DEADLINE: December 18, 2002
One technician just resign the job.
