On Oct 14, I asked for my vacation pay. He was mad and said:"Come on! I have already helped you a lot! ...You have already used up your vacation!"
As a girl, I could not withstand my tear and anger. I argued: " I only too 2 days off when my sister was visiting Toronto". He immediately said: "you did not come on Friday(Oct 12, after laid off)".
Finally, I got my last check.
1) For 2001, I did not get vacation pay because he said I used up them during christmas days. Actually, he asked me to work at home and report him. I did not take any vacation in 2001.
2) for 2002, 2 days off. I can use them as my personal day. I want to know, is it a mandatory for the company to give the employee "personal day"?
3) for 2002, I did not go to work after got laid off. Should that day be taken as my vacation? I think this day is legal to be off after got laid off.
Please give me some idea!
