The only place you can find a good car is the auto auction for dealer. Most of the second hand auto dealer get their cars from this kind of auction. I don't think you would be able to place a bid there.
I know most of the cars at the so-called "open to public" auction came from private party. If somebody has trouble selling his car normally, he is sending his car to the auction. Just image who is going to send his car to the auction if the car is not in deep shit and he is in a rush to dump his car.
I know car pretty well and I have over 5 years driving experience in North Amercia. I bought my last car from auto auction at Wilson. That was the biggest shitty decision I've ever made. You can't image how much trouble that car from auction gave to me.
So listen to me. Don't buy a car from the auto auction.
