I passed G1 exit road test yesterday. Time: 6:00pm, test center: morningside. Officer: white man, very quiet. I got a mark 96 out of 100, not bad!
my route: backout from parking lot, exit center and turn left to Grand Marshall road. there is a car approaching me from left, so I stop untill the way is clear. Drive along grand marshall and turn right at the intersection to Milner Ave. Stop at the intersection then go across morningside ave.
Turn right at an intersection, was asked to do a uphill parking, then go!
drive along the residential area while a bunch of kids were playing basket ball, I slowed down and the officer asked me to make a full stop (really dangerous if you don't stop). when the way was clear, made a parallel parking. When I tried to turn right from morningside to sheppard, one SUV block the road without any signal, officer asked to go around it and bypass it, then go back to center.
a few points:
1. ask your coach to take you drive around the test center to get a hang of it, it will make you more confident
2. ask your coach to give you English command when your practice so that you will get used to it. the thing is: when you're taking test, the chances are you will be so nervous to listen to command.
3. if the officer ask you turn left, you may end up with changing to left lanes twice, must do it quickly, check blind spot twice. the officer may not say "change to left lane twice", so very tricky!
4. if you can't make the left turn at the end of road, just go straight ahead, don't do anything that is dangerous, or you will definately fail, period!
I really benefited a lot from road test topic on Rolia discussion board , so just want to give sth back, that's what this bbs is for, right?
