go tunnel, turn left when out, onto jefferson, and stay on that level, 2min later u will reach Cobo, do not go the underpass, follow police instruction, parking underground in Cobo's garage is the best convenient---max daily 6.00us$.
Cobo surrounding is safe, I would say. entry is easy, re-entry needs to be stamped on ur hand.
show is fantastic, not only those concept vehicle are there (really creative), such as pontiac solatice, cadillac Cien, Ford GT40, aston martin, Jeep willys, Jeep Pacifica, dodge razor... (each of them is marvellous), but also hundreds of newest 2002/2003 models are demonstrated, u can fit in the driver seat, u can ask questions to beautiful/handsome/professional ggmm (body shape class A), u can have brochures (printing quality is super), u can play game, u can enjoy theatre...
u name it, big names are all there, from big3 to euro to asian companies (not a slice of chinese product over there though)...
big3 still control trucks (van/suv...), which is my favorite type, while honda/toyota... show their sedans more attractive.
