Take a look at the chart and see where China is. For a fast-developing country, the national debt/GNP ratio of China should be much higher becuase it needs to borrow money. However, the ratio is still low. 40% is pretty low compared with other developed countries.
The data was based on 2003 statistics but I believe even today the situation is still similar.
The current inflation rate in China is around 4% to 5%. The data is from my economic professor here. of course it is an estimated figure. Believe it or not, he said it is sort of a miracle to keep such a low inflation rate while the Chinese economy is growing so fast.
BTW, the 2% inflation rate target is from the bank of Canada, not People's bank of China. My point is that a reasonable inflation rate is good to economy.
2. Don't take it personally. I am not debating for myself. But If there is a good chance, I would like to stay in China for ever. why not? I would also tell you that I have not got my canadian passport since I have not made up my final decision yet. tough I have been here long enough. If I want, I could have got my passpot long time ago.
3. You just look at it form a micro view. It is a good thing for the private owners to hire migrant workers from other places. That is my point. Mainland China is so big. Even some cities are well-developed, there are some other cities these small-biz owners can choose. and I would say in at least 20 years, the consumption of the population won't be done. You can always find the chances.
4. The service part. I would say it is becuase people have different life styles. For example, If I want to have some snacks at 2:00 am. If I live in SZ, I can just go downstairs and order something. But in Toronto, it is not easy. The life is not that convinient.
5. I don't think Canada is boring and I don't even mean it. I just think that these two countries represent two different life styles. If I am married and have kids, I would more like to stay in Canada. However, if you are ambitious(hehe) and single, I would recommend that you go to China.
I only went to several big cities in the US and don't have enough knowledge to judge. Frankly speaking, I feel that only LA and SF can be my choice. However, compared with Toronto, they won't be on my list. I don't really think NYC a good place to live either.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
