Licence plates in Ontario are only transferable:

  1. between family, including:
    • spouse, common-law spouse
    • mother, father, step-mother, step-father
    • son, step-son, or adopted son
    • daughter, step-daughter, or adopted daughter
    • son-in-law, daughter-in-law, father-in-law or mother-in-law
    • children and parents in a common-law relationship
  2. when a personalized licence plate is ordered as gift, the plate may need to be transferred to the person receiving the plate as a gift. A form is included with the plates for this purpose.

        但需要双方在转让书上签字，公正。

        方法有二个

        1，对方在国内找一个加拿大律师的事务所，他们会办理这个公正，但费用比较高。大概需要2-3千人民币。这边你自己的公正可以在service of Ontario办理，二十加币。

        2，或者找这边的公证处，有网上公正的业务的那种。40加币左右。不过因为是在网上办理，需要对方能上网，并能连接到这边公证处的网站。速度也要快，否则可能时间不够，最后办不成。

        公正签字时需要三方同时上网，要有视频功能。不太好操作。
