多伦多给我关于SARS和健康卡的答复,希望对大家有用。

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I am responding to your email inquiry received by the Ministry of Health and
Long-Term Care.

In general, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome ( SARS ) is spread from one
person to another only through close contact - through droplets from
coughing or sneezing, or from direct face-to-face contact. There is no
evidence to date that the disease spreads through casual contact or through
the air. The risk to the general population remains very low. Washing your
hands frequently is always the best way to prevent infection from any
illness. Its symptoms may include a sudden onset of fever ( greater than 38
degrees Celsius or 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit ) and / or dry cough, severe
fatigue, shortness of breath, severe headache, muscle aches / pains, or
difficulty breathing.

To date - Individuals returning / coming to Canada ( from such places as
China, Hong Kong, Singapore or Vietnam, Taiwan ) should monitor their health
for Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome symptoms for 10 days upon return to Canada. Only if you
develop a fever ( greater than 38 degrees Celsius or 100.4 degrees
Fahrenheit ) and / or any of the symptoms associated with SARS appear should
you put yourself in voluntary isolation and call a local Public Health Unit
or Telehealth Ontario @ Telephone 1-866-797-000 TTY 1-866-797-0007.
