Technical Requirements:
Solid technical experience in e-mail migration with specific experience in MS Exchange 5.5, Win NT and Win 2000. Preferable experience in All-in-on/VMS and/or any other e-mail messenging services experience.
Extensive hardware configuration, migration, conversion and deployment experience.
Desirable to have previous govt experience with Ont Govt Ministries, specifically related to e-mail migration to Exchange 5.5. (server pack 4).
Ministry of Health past experience in previously executed migration project would be ideal.
Generalist experience with some migration not what is required unless large migration with hands-on.
There are 4 projects in play over a 4 month period:
1.Back-end team- to configure HW /mailbox related to infrastruture etc.
2.Migration and 3. conversion teams to deal with data and migration from current All-in-one to exchange environment.
4. Tech support team- will support above teams technically as well as deal with post implementation and rollout. Three plus positions from this latter team will be extended for another 2 months to deal with exchange advice, HW admin, tech support for knowledge transfer to ministry.

Migration of 6000 to 8000 clients from All-In-One VMS e-mail to MS Exchange 5.5. Requirement to supply senior tech resources (technically independent) with hands-on and diplomacy skills for the above project. Diplomacy is required as this migration will take place over the govt year-end.
The requirement is specifically for staff to execute the project. Team leads, architects etc. have already been addressed and are not required.
