I got this job from school

Before that, I took about one year looking for a job, but just got two interview opportunity. Then I decided to begin my master degree program. Now I have complete the study.
I got this job after I put my resume on school's job center for a few month. After that, I still got some call asking me if want a coop job.
it is big different on my job hunting. I am wondering why. Is it because of my master degree? Co-op is a lot easy to find? Or because it is easier to find a job in America? ( BTW, I am a Canada immigration, studied in USA, and find a coop job in USA)

The co-op job just like contractor. Pay by hour. There is no any welfare.
